Founder & President

Mark founded MAK Construction in 2004. He has over 25 years of business management and operational experience and over 15 years construction experience for both commercial and residential construction projects. His passion for construction started from a young age while working for a rough framing contractor in California. His involvement in this raw side of construction opened a desire to understand the involvement each trade had in building structures. Mark has been in the Valley since 1989, attended ASU and thereafter built companies and projects in and around the greater Phoenix area. Mark has created a solid foundation for MAK circulating our portfolio around the valley and gaining many new projects from Clients and Architects. From remodels to new builds, commercial developments to multi-family developments, Mark is always bringing new and exciting projects to the table.


President of Operations

Tim has been with MAK since its inception. Tim has over 32 years of experience in the construction industry and has made his career specializing in residential construction. Originally from England, he began working at age 15 as a finisher in residential construction and only after 5 years elevated his professional experience to working at Hampton Court Palace and for the Queen at Windsor Castle. As a result of this type of experience, Tim conducts our projects with extreme attention to detail. He supervises all the sub trades and technicians from start to finish, adding his finesse to each project. With over 275 projects of all sizes completed, his experience plays a large role in estimating and value engineering our projects. Tim is also involved in our pre-construction processes meeting with new and existing Clients and Architects. He states, “each project should be a fun experience”. With the long lasting client relationships MAK has with our Clients after a project is finished, he makes sure it is just that.



Sherri joined the MAK team in 2011 and has over 15 years of experience in Construction Accounting and Financial Management. Sherri has managed several projects for numerous developers in Arizona and Nevada cumulatively totaling in excess of $250,000,000.  Her experiences range from commercial retail developments and tenant improvements including Walgreens Drug Co., major hotel chains, stores and restaurants, to high end custom home remodels and new builds.  Her enthusiasm for the construction industry sparked when she moved from upstate New York to the Phoenix area in 2001.  The different architectural styles and fast-paced development of the Southwestern region was intriguing and influenced her decision to join the industry.  “Belonging to the MAK team has been everything I’d been looking for in my career.” she states.  “MAK is a pioneer in this industry, there is always something new and exciting in the works.”


Site Superintendent

Patrick joined the MAK team in 2010. Prior to joining MAK, Patrick was a member of the United States Army. He brought with him to the MAK team the leadership skills, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence he learned as a soldier. In the field, Patrick always conducts himself professionally and always strives to maintain a healthy working relationship with the clients, sub trades, and anyone involved in the project. Patrick is also an extremely skilled and effective ninja assassin who will always get his mark, one way or another… His full length documentary has been filmed by Oliver Stone and will be released to theaters in major markets in the fall of 2016. His part will be played by Benedict Cumberbatch.


Site Superintendent

Raymond joined the MAK team in 2010. Originally from Missouri, he started his career in the construction field in the early 2000`s building custom log homes. He came to MAK with a wide variety of experience and skill sets including carpentry and trim work, cabinetry, and plumbing. Since joining the MAK team, Raymond has enhanced his skill set further and his ability to take on, supervise and complete both small and large projects. Raymond has a positive attitude and is great with our Clients. He has proven be a great asset to the MAK team and looks forward to growing with the company.


Accounting Assistant

Megan has worked in the Construction Accounting field since March of 2014 and joined the MAK team in October of 2015. She has experience working with Home Depot accounts across the state, as well as coordinating purchase orders and invoicing for hundreds of Fannie Mae home remodels in several states across the country. At MAK, Megan assists with our accounts payable and receivable, insurance certificate tracking, credit accounts, lien waivers and greets all of our visitors with her warm smile. She has great attention to detail, enjoys the fast pace of the construction industry, and is eager to continue growing in the field of Construction Accounting with the MAK team.


Project Assistant

Brandon joined the MAK Construction team in January of 2015 and helps with the safety program, Co-Construct program, subcontractor paperwork and marketing. Before that, he was heavily involved with the “Foundation for Applied Technical Education” (FATE) program at his high school where he helped build a home with other students that sold for over $800,000. Brandon’s love for building led him to the Arizona State University construction management program in the Fulton School of Engineering where he graduated on time with an OSHA certification and a real estate license.  Now he focuses on helping MAK grow from the office and field.
